RIBA Learning & Skills Sector Forum Conference & Further Education Building Design Excellence Awards 2009

Building Colleges for our students' future

RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London, W1B 1AD
Tuesday 31st March 2009

The RIBA Learning & Skills Sector Forum, in association with the LSN, will host its annual conference and award ceremony on March 31st 2009. The Building Colleges for the Future  investment  programme is  transforming  colleges across the country. Innovative and creative capital projects are delivering state of the art facilities and a sustainable future for communities across the country. It is now time to celebrate this.  Chaired by Andy Wilson, Principal of Westminster Kingsway College speakers include Siôn Simon, Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for Further Education and Philip Head, LSC director of Infrastructure and Property Services.

The RIBA Learning & Skills Sector Client Forum's Annual Conference provides a unique opportunity for those leading capital projects and industry professionals to consider how the current investment in FE infrastructure will ensure high quality  educational buildings for generations to come. This year we focus on sustainability. The programme provides opportunities to hear from influential speakers, address practical issues explored in workshops and view the shortlisted projects for this year's award. I hope you find the programme stimulating and look forward to welcoming you to the conference.
