Public Procurement, Reinvented by AI - A Direct Response to UK Gov's AI Opportunities Action Plan

For too long, UK public sector procurement has been fragmented, with multiple bodies independently running resource-intensive tendering exercises for near-identical requirements. This inefficiency results in billions of pounds wasted annually, produces sub-optimal outcomes and stifles the inclusion of innovative, socially responsible, and sustainable suppliers.
CPRAS welcomes the AI Opportunities Action Plan, presented to Parliament by Matt Clifford, Secretary of State Science, Innovation and Technology (January 13th 2025) and the recent government statements committing to supporting all of its recommendations. The action plan is a quantum step toward harnessing AI across public services, including procurement, and we are proud to be at the forefront of delivering solutions that will maximise its impact.
However, this is not purely theoretical… The first modules of our AI-driven procurement platform are already fully operational and more than 70 Public Bodies are already benefiting from them and the technology is freely available to you.
Our Procurement Optimisation Agent is the result of four years of investment and development, initiated in direct response to the Procurement Act Green Paper of December 2020. Using cutting-edge AI, Multi-Criteria Decision Aids (MCDA), and blockchain-backed transparency, the Agent provides the first end-to-end procurement system that removes duplication, shares best practice, enhances supplier engagement and selection, and ensures compliance with evolving government priorities. Our platform facilitates procurement projects of all types, maximising the impact of new procurement options introduced by the Procurement Act 2023.
