About Us
Established in 1963, Titian Studio is a London based workshop working with High End Interior Designers, Architects and Antique Dealers.
Our knowledge and skills have originated from our unique training as antique restorers and conservers. Our extensive experience in working with fine antique furniture has also established us within the trade, as distinct furniture makers and surface decorators for exclusive interiors. Our vast expertise in the restoration of water and oil gilding, oriental lacquer, painted decoration and gilded glass (Verre Eglomise) provides us with the knowledge to take our craft beyond fine antique furniture and to commercial and residential interior projects.
Our projects include:
Prince Albert Memorial, London-Exterior gilding conservation and restoration.
Smethwick Sikh Temple, Birmingham-Exterior gilding to largest dome in Europe.
Chanel HQ London - on site gilding to exposed steel staircase structure.
L’Oscar Hotel London - joinery, cabinet making and French Polishing to the main Library room, conference room and restaurant. Restoration of Victorian marble and tile fireplaces.
Annabel’s Private Members club- gilded glass walling in the Flower Room and crackled gesso to wall elements in the nightclub.
Tamarind Restaurant, London - Pink painted and silver leaf, gilded glass panelled ceiling and gilded glass door panels to Private dining room.
Witanhurst House Private residential client - making of carved and gilded bespoke furniture, producing gilded wall panels with baroque style decoration, design and making of decorated Chinoiserie furniture.
