Testimonials
“Having been provided with the Visual Stress resources pack and attended an active session on its use, I felt fully informed to carry out the assessment plus confident having learnt some background on the causes of visual stress and additional ‘tricks’ to test out the work environment for DSE assessments too.” – Health and Wellbeing Manager – UK Police Force
“Really happy with Crossbow, the course was well delivered and we are having really good feedback from all our current users. It compliments any DSE assessment and comes highly recommended.” Occupational Health Manager – Fire Service
“The training on Visual Stress I received from Crossbow was excellent, it was well structured, informal but very effective. I now have the skills to take back to my workplace to be able to carry out Visual Stress assessments with confidence.” – Health and Safety Manager - NHS
“Since the training I have carried out a number of assessments, the most recent assessment resulted in an increased reading speed of 23%, a great result” plus no moving words. Wow!.” – Health and Wellbeing Manager, Fire Service
“I attended the course earlier this year following speaking with you both at the Health in the Workplace conference at the NEC in March.
The course was excellent and insightful with all delegated attending sold on the impact and possible benefits we could all bring utilising the Visual stress assessments in our work places.
I on a personal level I had a revelation of my suspected but undiagnosed Dyslexia. I had a reading improvement rate of 60%!!!
I have personally used the monitor screen every day and find using it beneficial and increasing my ability to take in reading material.
I have just rolled out my first course in the work place with unknown anticipation. Everyone except one person was unsure of what Visual stress was. The only person who was aware had been diagnosed as borderline Dyslexia previously, but was not using overlays.
Performing 14 tests today the average improvement was 10.9 %- A huge benefit with everyone spending at least 8 hours per at in front of their laptop.
The best result was 22.4%.
Having spoken to the project Director – we will be running a questionnaire in 4 weeks’ time and review the continual use of the product.
If we can ensure continual usage and benefit then we roll out across the Project.” – Independent Occupational Health Practitioner

Crossbow Education: The Visual Stress Collection won SEN Product of the Year at the Educational Resources Awards in 2014 and provides resources to 70% of schools in the UK. We work along side and use the research of Professor Arnold Wilkins (from Essex University, the leading researcher on Visual Stress in the UK) for the basis of our products.
Visual Stress is relatively new research, meaning there are many people within the workplace who are suffering with Visual Stress unknowingly and think the symptoms they have are just the norm. Helping people with Visual Stress in the workplace is simple, affordable and can make a huge difference to work life and home life.
We aim to do this with our expert knowledge and our Visual Stress Collection.
