About Us

Established in 1884 as the Acme Lead Seal Company - focusing on the manufacture of Lead seals and Sealing Presses - and later incorporated into Acme Seals Limited in 1928 with the introduction if tin plated seals.  Acme Seals is the oldest single owned and one of the world's leading manufacturers of quality security seals. With the ever-changing world Acme Seals adapted and grew with it and in 1989 started production of plastic seals which included fixed-length and variable-length seals.  In Acme relocated their factory for the first time from Leytonstone in London (where it had been since 1884) to Witham in Essex in 2003.   Acme Seals products are manufactured from their factory in Puchong in Malaysia. 

The Acme reputation is now built on over 130 years’ experience of service within all sectors of industry including Sea, Land and Air Cargo movements, Retail and Utility companies, Banks, Cash in Transit, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, and Government Organisations such as HM Revenue & Customs. We have continuous design, development and manufacturing processes that enable us to supply innovative quality security seals to meet efficiently and effectively the requirements of our global customers. We are accredited to ISO 9001:2015 and we remain committed to the production and supply of the highest quality security seal products.
