Welcome to 6 Engineering - Your safety engineering partner
We are engineering consultants for the major hazard industries. Based in North Yorkshire, we support industry worldwide, helping you to keep people and assets safe and free from unnecessary risk.
Our founder and director, Nick Howard, holds a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in environmental technology. Nick is also a qualified Functional Safety Engineer and holds FSEng (TÜV Rheinland).
Nick started his career as an undergraduate with Teesside Power Station and as a graduate with Mitsui Babcock and Aker Kvaerner. He is also a committee member of the IChemE Teesside branch and supports local schools’ career events.
