MK BIM Solutions is a BIM Consultancy and Measured Building Survey company. We are an excellent team based in North London providing a spectrum of services including 2D CAD Surveys, 3D Surveys (BIM and Revit), Topographical Surveys and Area Referencing (GIA, NIA & IPMS).

OUR SERVICES
Scan to BIM (3D Survey)
In the past 8 years, MK BIM Solutions has worked on several Scan to BIM (Revit) projects in the UK. The most efficient method of producing a BIM model of an existing building or structure is to employ the use of 3D laser scanning. However, laser scanning on its own is not sufficient to provide a complete geometric information required for interpretation and creation of the BIM model.
Measured Building Survey (2D CAD)
Measured building survey is an accurate representation of a building showing all the architectural, structural and MEP elements in the project. Our laser scanning team will visit your site to capture both interior and exterior parts of the building in quickest time possible. The survey data then translates into As-Built Floor Plans, Elevations, Cross Sections and Topography which help Architects, designers and engineers in developing their project. We cover projects from a small family home to large multifunctional buildings.
Area Referencing
We offer Area Referencing to correctly identify the usable space of your building. To do this, we use the latest technology and Software to provide precise and exact digital format of Area Referencing. Based on your requirements, we identify Gross External Area (GEA), Gross Internal Area (GIA) and Net Internal Area (NIA) as well as IPMS1 (External), IPMS2 (Internal) and IPMS3 (Occupier).
