About Us

In May 2007, my wife Debbie and I arrived at our new premises for CountyClean Environmental Services Ltd with a five year old tanker and our first job booking, so I jumped in the tanker and began our very first customer relationship. Since then we have become CountyClean Group – a multi-million-pound turnover business, with more than 40 staff over three locations and a growing fleet of almost 23 commercial vehicles.

Our depth of personal experience, coupled with an industry-wide understanding of our market shaped our plans for the future. Confidence and vision led to significant investment in our company’s infrastructure and technology, future-proofing our business model and allowing it to grow in a way that will benefit our clients and our company.

Right from the very start, we reinvested all profits back into the company as we understand that the key to being successful is not just to employ people and to buy more equipment, but to make sure that we have the right people and quality equipment. As the industry is small, specialist and as we work in a service industry, we are only measured on two things: cost and level of service. Getting the balance right has been critical and key to our success over the years.

Throughout the years we have developed and expanded our services offering in tune services, meeting our client requirements and as such we have secured a number of imperative accreditations, including; Alcumus SafeContractor, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Achilles FORS, ConstructionLine Gold and UK Spill, meaning we can serve any sized client and win tenders with large contractors and local authorities alike.

For example, the growth of our commercial division prompted us to invest in our own waste treatment and recycling facility in Surrey, which allows us to treat certain waste streams that we collect ourselves, enabling us to reduce our reliance on third parties. The investment in our new treatment facility also led to us launching a road sweeper division with state of the art equipment as this seemed to be a logical extension to our business.

Additionally, we enjoy developing and promoting our staff from within whilst enabling our teams to progress in their own career development as we expand. Also, key to our growth is making sure that, when we start a new division, we attract new staff with the specialist knowledge required to allow us to be successful.

Our company vision to provide an exceptional service at an affordable price has filtered down through the business at all levels.

The plan is to continue growing the company extensively over the next five years through significant investment and portfolio expansion, whilst maintaining the level of commitment and service that our clients have come to expect from us whilst also protecting the environment.

When you call us to collect and dispose of your wet waste, after putting the phone down, you can move on to other things safe in the knowledge that you are in good hands.

Everyone at CountyClean Group is ready to react quickly, safely, efficiently, cost-effectively and in compliance with the law: it’s what we do every day.
