About Us

Nulty is an independent architectural lighting design consultancy working with some of the world’s foremost architects and interior designers. Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of the practice; improving life through light is the goal. 

Founded in London over 11 years, the consultancy has delivered immersive lighting projects for global brands such as Nike, Samsung, Harrods, Bloomingdale’s and Google. The award-winning team works on projects on every scale, from city-wide masterplans and major public realm schemes through to hospitality, leisure, retail, commercial and residential projects across the globe.  

Nulty’s international team of creative and technical designers spans London, Dubai, Bangkok, Pune and Miami. Recent work includes the Waldorf Astoria in Doha, 25Hours Hotel Dubai One Central, Calvin Klein at Battersea Power Station, the United Nations in Geneva, Chelsea Barracks, Manhattan Loft Gardens, DIFC Gate at Gate Village and Keflavik Airport. 

The team prides itself on constantly redefining how light is used in relation to sustainability, creativity, health and wellness, and technology. Sustainability is fundamental to everyone’s thinking and the practice is committed to assessing the whole-life cost and environmental impact of its work. Nulty London is working on a number of highly ambitious schemes with a core focus on carbon neutrality that have challenged the team to strive for greater efficiency and a move towards more sustainable working practices.
