About Us
We are a Cambridge-based independent company operating nationwide, which began with a single, simple idea. We developed the Okopod modular design concept to make the construction of high-quality garden rooms quicker, easier, more affordable and more ecologically viable. We take great pride in our work, and all of our employees are craftsmen, with every Okopod piece being hand made to the highest of standards.
The Okopod modular concept means creating your perfect space might be easier, quicker, and more affordable than you think. Fully customisable, eco-friendly, and installed in no time.
We also design, build and install extensions that follow the same construction principles as Okopod garden rooms and conform with building regulations.

We’re passionate about looking after the environment and are lazer focussed on sustainability. We’ve meticulously looked into each design element balancing environmental impact and longevity. We also continue to research new materials and processes, plus monitor our own carbon footprint with a view to becoming climate positive in the near future.
OUR TEAM
We have a team of highly qualified professionals who build the Okopod modular structures offsite. This manufacturing team take great pride in their work,and every square inch is quality checked throughout the build process.
Our skilled installation team are polite, friendly and efficient. They take great care in preserving the surrounding grounds and install walking boards over grass to protect from foot traffic. The installation team are friendly and will cause you as little disturbance as possible.
PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION
Unlike traditional methods, modular manufacturing and construction means tight tolerances and quality control are priorities. Okopods are constructed in controlled environments, reducing the chance of timber imperfections and warping. We are also committed to sourcing high quality, sustainable materials.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
In addition to sustainable materials, our modular construction concept means we practice production repetition. This uses far less energy and reduces waste to almost nothing — far more efficient than traditional building methods. This also why an Okopod garden room is so affordable.
CONVENIENT INSTALLATION
On average, it takes only three days on site to install your fully finished Okopod garden room. In most circumstances planning permission is not required, and the entire process is complete within a month of finalising your design with us.
Process
AFFORDABLE BY DESIGN
Our process produces almost no waste, and the left over materials go into the next module. This means you only pay for what’s used, not what’s ending up in landfill. Materials are pre cut in bulk and pre drilled. Everything is meticulously designed and planned. Labour time is greatly reduced. All of which means your perfect space costs less to make a reality.
