Welcome to T&W Civil Engineering Ltd

T & W Civil Engineering has been providing groundworks and civil engineering services to National Housebuilders for over 25 years.

We are dedicated to providing high levels of customer service whilst ensuring all of our workforce goes home safely each day.

Starting out as a family business in Northampton in 1994, our customer focus has meant that we’ve grown rapidly through repeat business and we now operate across the Midlands and East Anglia. Whilst the business has grown significantly, those family values remain, with people at the heart of everything we do.

We’re proud to have been involved in winning the 2022 Regional Pride in the Job Award at Bicester, with a number of our other developments also picking up a Seal of Excellence. We have strong, long-standing relationships with key members of our supply chain meaning we are well placed to source materials to meet any deadline.

We are ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 accredited.

SERVICES

We have a wealth of industry experience, offering civil engineering and groundwork services and pride ourselves on repeat business from many well-known housebuilders.

Services include:

  • Plot works (foundations and external finishes)
  • Roads & sewers
  • S278 works
  • Drainage
  • Site clearance and bulk earthworks
  • Surfacing
  • Attenuation
  • Site surveys
  • Vacuum excavation

HEALTH & SAFETY

We are committed to ensuring our workforce goes home safely each day and encourage a proactive safety culture from all duty holders. Since July 2022 we have been fully compliant in utilising cabbed dumpers where required.

Through training and investment, we have added vacuum excavation to our safe system of work and prioritise this method to avoid injury or damage to underground services.

In 2021 we launched a new software solution enabling us to easily digitise and streamline our documents and processes, particularly around site inspections and near-miss reporting.

We are dedicated to improving the long-term physical and mental health of our workforce through an occupational health co-ordinator and mental health first aiders.

We constantly monitor our systems of work to ensure full compliance with legislative and client changes.
