SV Surveying LTD was established in 1988 and have vast experience in carrying out geospatial surveys. All our surveys are done in house. Chartered to the CICES (Charted Institution of Civil Engineering) using current RICS standards and techniques.
The company now operates from a central office in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire covering the whole of the U.K. and abroad. We now have 9 survey teams with a combined experience of over 100 years in the use of modern survey equipment including the latest Leica total stations and Leica scanning utilities. This coupled with years of practical experience using 3D terrain modelling software, ensures that our clients receive the most comprehensive and cost effective service available. Read more about us
Some of our main services
Our main services include Measured Building Surveys, Topographic and Land Surveys, 3D Laser Scanning, Measured Elevation Surveys, GPS Surveying, Hidden Utility and Flood Risk Assessment Surveys.
Topographic and Land Surveys
Topographic surveys are carried out using Leica electronic total stations to capture 3D observation data on site. This data is then processed in LSS surveying software to produce a Digital Terrain Model.
Measured Building Surveys
This service is available to all clients large or small. Our floor plan surveys are accurately measured on site by modern, “state of the art” Leica Laser Distance Measuring equipment linked to laptops running MBS software to survey and record the floor plans.
Setting Out / Civil Engineering
Setting out is the technical process of which co-ordinates are set out on site with a specified material. This will mark out control points and building points for your construction team to build from.
