Cemplas is a leading specialist contractor in the Car Park Refurbishment sector. In addition to the extensive work that we carry out on car park structures, Cemplas also have extensive, long-term experience of carrying out concrete repair and protection to a wide range of existing reinforced concrete structures. Typically these have been on exterior building facades such as commercial office buildings, libraries, schools, colleges, hospitals & leisure facilities, to name but a few.
At Cemplas, we have extensive experience in the application of liquid-applied roof re-waterproofing systems gained over a number of years applying the industry’s leading & technically proven systems utilising our own, directly-employed workforce. This enables us to offer substantial guarantees of performance from both manufacturers and Cemplas.
A Cemplas diagnostic survey will identify the prevalent factors, and recommend the optimum solution. The remedy will also depend on the intended use of the basement. If the existing structure is largely sound or to be built (new), Cemplas may recommend a cementitious tanking approach. If an existing basement is in poor condition, cavity drainage using a studded membrane and a pump to drain the water would be preferable. Localised problems would most likely be treated with resin injection.
