ACS provides academic expertise to meet a range of contemporary needs. We are humanities specialists delivering for public-sector and private clients.
WHO WE ARE
Our team has decades of academic experience. Since 2018, ACS has brought this expertise in the humanities and social sciences to a wide range of governmental, third-sector and privately capitalised clients.
Our special focus is on counter-extremism and charting the rise of the radical right globally. In doing this work, ACS is engaged in a range of projects from innovative research and report writing to training and consultancy. We lead the world in testing and disseminating robust alternative narratives in order to counter radicalisation. We provide accredited training for students and practitioners alike on the threats of hate crime, terrorism, and the evolving narratives of extremism today.
ACS also consults on broader academic best practice, including programme writing and validation, through to advice on funding applications, copyediting and proofreading.

WE OFFER THREE MAIN SERVICES
CONSULTING
- We are proud to work closely with colleagues who specialise in the radical right in order to provide world-leading expertise in this rapidly developing area. Clients include digital service providers, governmental counter-terrorism divisions, NGOs, police organisations and think tanks, among others.
COPYEDITING
- We have copy-editing contracts with international publishers as well as with universities, and we are also glad to take enquires from individuals; we can take on any project from 100 to over 100,000 words. Our copy-editors are experts in various fields within the humanities and all are highly trained to PhD level. We also provide indexing, proofreading and other ancillary research-related services.
TRAINING
- In collaboration with various colleagues including Media Cultured, we provide training on counter-extremism, anti-racism and safeguarding. Training can be tailored to your particular audience; we have experience working with diverse groups from schoolchildren to counter-terrorism police.
