Founded by Dr Curly Moloney in 1994, Moloney Search is a boutique Executive Search firm with headquarters in Kensington, London and operations across Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East. We have a reputation for professionalism and personal service. We work with over one third of the FTSE 100 and nearly a quarter of the Fortune 500 Group of companies. Dr Moloney leads the teams within Moloney Search, drawing upon the expertise of her other colleagues as and when appropriate. 

In addition, Moloney Search is renowned for its ability to produce diverse shortlists.  Curly co-wrote the Cabinet Office guidelines for diversity in recruitment which were rolled out across Government Departments and Lord Davies cited Moloney Search as ‘the Search firm able to produce very diverse shortlists of excellent quality’.

The Moloney Search Practices are committed to providing tailored search and selection services. The practice combines in-depth knowledge with a global reach. The team works closely with the Practice, the Senior Search Team.  This collaboration ensures that we can search both deeply and broadly across other sectors to access a real diversity of candidates.

We became part of the framework of search firms that work with the Cabinet Office for senior recruitment across all Government Departments and arm’s length bodies in 2015. Such was the quality and diversity of our work, our initial membership of this framework was renewed in November 2018. We maintain a strong working relationship with the Office of Public Appointments and Civil Service Commissioners and are often invited to present on best practice in diversity recruitment. Guided by the Recruitment Principles outlined by the Civil Service Commission, all of our individual campaigns for SCS/Public Appointments have resulted in a candidate being identified at the first attempt. 

We offer an end-to-end process following Commission principles which is a multi-stage process that ensures rigour throughout our search.
