Welcome to City First Aid Solutions

City First Aid Solutions started in January 2019 with Claire Thomas making the break into self employment, since then it has gone from strength to strength. We now have a small admin team to support your requests and a reliable group of friendly tutors to deliver quality, engaging training. Our tutors deliver to a variety of school, leisure and industrial settings. From small local businesses to large leisure groups and academy trusts. Our experienced instructors excel at what they do, whether teaching CPR, first aid courses or water based rescue classes such as lifeguard courses, swimming teacher and aquatic therapy rescue. We are also pleased to offer First Aid for Mental Health.

As a family run business every new contract no matter the size is still important to us so your business will be valued and that is reflected in our customer care.

Certified and Experienced Instructors

Our trainers typically come from working in the leisure industry, with a combined experience of 100+ years it's safe to say you'll be in good hands! Our style is relaxed with plenty of practical tasks to keep you engaged. We aim to send you away feeling confident after a fun course, ready to handle whatever is thrown your way.

The majority of our courses are regulated by Ofqual so you can be confident that you are ticking all those Health and Safety boxes when you choose us. We can also tailor courses to your individual needs as required. 

We provide high quality courses in a way that leaves you feeling totally engaged in the subject while also feeling more confident that you can use what you have learnt if the need arises. As first aiders and lifeguards ourselves, we will train you 'by the book' while also adding in a sense of reality to prepare you as best we know how based on our own real life experiences.

Emergency First Aid	First Aid at Work

NRASTC	Pool Lifeguard
NRASTC is a supervision and rescue award for swimming teachers, coaches and/or instructors working during programmed activities, such as swimming lessons. It is suitable for teachers working in a wide range of swimming pools where the water is deeper than the teachers’ standing depth and meets the Individual sites risk assessment.  Read more	The NPLQ is the most awarded lifeguard qualification in the UK and Ireland and is also internationally recognised. More than 40,000 pool lifeguards qualify with the RLSS UK every year, and there are currently more than 80,000 pool lifeguards qualified in the NPLQ – 95% of all UK pool lifeguards.   Read more
