About Us
Strip Out London are a Principal Contractor specializing in undertaking soft stripout and demolition in occupied building of all types.
Whether it be, Commercial Offices, Churches, Synagogues, Museums or light industrial facilities. Our professional and highly skilled team is used to working in the most demanding situations and delivering our clients brief.
Co founded by directors with a combined 50 years experience in commercial strip out and demolition works we have the management team and expertise to ensure all our projects run smoothly, on time and on budget.
Our Process
Every project is analysed thoroughly prior to a construction phase plan (CPP) being developed. A site logistics plan that incorporates all aspects of fire safety and the logistics of the works is produced for agreement by the client prior to project start.
Following this stage a site specific construction environmental management plan (CEMP) is created to ensure we are always operating in the most sustainable way possible and that all construction related carbon emissions are recorded and reported.
Health and safety is always at the forefront of our mind. We employ in house safety consultants to ensure we are always minimizing and where possible eradicating any risks to our team and members of the general public.
As a member of the Considerate Constructor Scheme we take the 5 pillars of the scheme very seriously and are always striving for excellence.

Demolition (also known as razing, cartage, and wrecking) is the science and engineering in safely and efficiently tearing down of buildings and other artificial structures. Demolition contrasts with deconstruction, which involves taking a building apart while carefully preserving valuable elements for reuse purposes. For small buildings, such as houses, that are only two or three stories high, demolition is a rather simple process. The building is pulled down either manually or mechanically using large hydraulic equipment: elevated work platforms, cranes, excavators or bulldozers. Larger buildings require the use of rotational hydraulic shears and silenced rock-breakers attached to excavators to cut or break through wood, steel, and concrete. |

Dilapidation's are works to replace a commercially leased space back to its owner in the original from as when it was leased. In a commercial lease, “dilapidation's” are damages or defects to a property which a tenant is legally obliged to put right under the terms of their lease. If applicable, a landlord can make a dilapidation's claim against the tenant either during or at the end of the term of the lease. The dilapidation's claim should set out the repairs required to the property and then usually the tenant would rectify the damage themselves, or if not, the landlord will make the repairs and re-charge the tenant for their costs (which can include loss of rent). Alternatively, the landlord could claims for damages, forfeiture or specific performance, if the lease allows. |

At Stripout London we have vast experience with structural installations, structural alterations and removals. Our Central Synagogue project for instance required the installation of a large goal post and in ground beam to facilitate the projects design and layout objectives. We procured temporary works designs, manufacture of steel work and specialist fixings and our specialist team installed the beams. On the same project we built various retaining walls with structural reinforcement bar in the basement area to ensure the structural integrity of the area. Structural alterations were undertaken with temporary propping and the installation of new steel work to achieve the designers requirements. |
