Specialists in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke Kitchen Ventilation Systems

Trivent Ltd is a long established family run firm, which was founded in 1980. Our specialist service includes the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke kitchen ventilation systems, which can be designed to suit any kitchen layout. We employ over 30 members of staff and hold an established reputation for quality and reliability within the industry.

We continually strive to enhance staff training ensuring all employees hold a good command of current health and safety knowledge and best practices. All Installation staff currently hold CSCS Skill Cards and have undergone Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling and Working At Heights training. A member of each Installation team is PASMA trained and they are all currently working towards their NVQ Level 2 in H & V (Ductwork).

In conjunction with Leeds College of Technology, we employ Apprentices who are trained in-house by our workshop of Sheet Metal Workers as well as going to college to gain their NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in Fabrication and Welding. By doing this, we are ensuring that we have a fully skilled workforce for years to come and can continue to offer the exceptional quality of products that we have become renowned for.

We are pleased to announce that in October 2012 we passed the criteria required to achieve the ISO 9001:2008 certification.

The design, manufacture and installation of our bespoke kitchen ventilation systems bear the BSI Kitemark. This is your assurance that samples are regularly subjected to rigorous, independent testing to ensure that they comply with stringent standards for safety, product performance, or reliability. In addition, the Kitemark also means that the quality systems of our workshop where our canopies, ductwork and ancillary components are made are systematically assessed. The Kitemark is therefore our commitment towards maintaining the highest possible standards.

Our Products & Services

All projects we undertake are personally managed by our very competent in-house Design/Project Management team, and each is designed individually to suit customer requirements. Our designs are generally based upon the project-specific catering layout, site conditions and good working practices such as DW/172 and HSE catering sheet No10, although any specific requirements can be adopted as necessary. Our designs and calculations are produced and distributed electronically. Project specific method statements and installation risk assessments are also produced for every project.

We manufacture our products in-house, affording us the flexibility to meet project deadlines whilst providing systems that are designed specifically for individual projects. We would be happy for you to visit our workshop should you wish to inspect any of our products.

We are able to provide:

  • Standard extract, input/extract and induction style canopies
  • Architectural canopies (round, oval, fluted etc.)
  • Condense canopies or full dish-wash extract systems
  • Extract ductwork manufactured in galvanised or stainless steel (dependent upon location) to DW/144 complete with access/cleanout doors to TR/19 Filtered replacement air systems
  • LPHW Heating Coils for heating plant (pipe work and controls to be installed by others)
  • Electric Heater Batteries with temperature sensors and thyristor control systems to temper the replacement air dependent upon project requirements
  • Standard and architectural cladding
  • Service distribution units and service droppers
  • Insulated screens
  • Odour filtration and noise attenuation can be offered if required by specific projects.
  • Canopy lighting is included as standard in the form of low energy fluorescent bulkhead lights although recessed lighting can be provided if required.
  • Gas interlock panels or full systems
  • Fire suppression systems

Along with the above, we also employ the services of an electrical team who commission gas interlock panels and can also provide second fix wiring when required.
