Ingate’s SIParators®/Firewalls® are Enterprise Session Border Controllers (E-SBCs) compatible with all existing networks and comes with a standard SIP proxy and a SIP registrar. They have support for NAT and PAT as well as for TLS and SRTP to encrypt both SIP signalling and media, eliminating the security issue most commonly associated with using enterprise VoIP.

The SIParator®/Firewall® is now also available as a software version, the Software SIParator®/Firewall®, which offers the same security and SIP-enabling functionality found in Ingate’s hardware-based E-SBCs. The Software SIParator®/Firewall® is designed to be signalling led on a virtual machine using one of the several hypervisors. It is intended for IP-PBX vendors, system integrators and customers deploying a large number of Ingate products on their own hardware platform.

Ingate E-SBCs comes in a range of sizes to meet enterprise needs from home office to large enterprise and have been cited by users and media for ease of use. The flexible system of add-on licenses allows any enterprise to enhance the SIParator®/Firewall® solution to meet the needs at any given moment.

Design Services

  • Pre-sales & Design
    Nos Communicare’ pre-sales consultants work closely and collaboratively with customers and the Nos Communicare’ sales team to define effective solutions. Consultants can be provided to work with customer/partner sales teams to build business cases, assist with technical pricing for proposals and deliver product/solution presentations and demonstrations.
  • Surveys
    Site survey and audit services are available. Services range from full site surveys for new installations to network audits, patching schedules and asset discovery of legacy sites.

Build Services

  • FAT & Staging
    Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) & Staging services ranging from green-light testing prior to large roll outs to full staging, test plans and Proof Of Concept (POC) workshops.
  • Service Delivery & Project Management
    Quality post-sales support and ongoing service delivery is provided by dedicated Service Delivery Managers who are the first point of contact for our customers. Regular account reviews, service reports and product updates are provided by the Nos Communicare service delivery team.  Project management services are available and are provided by Prince2 certified project managers. Services can range from simple resource allocation and job planning services to full programme management for large complex projects.
  • Installation & Commissioning

Run & Support


Nos Communicare’ operates its own 24/7/365 carrier grade networks operation centre (NOC) staffed with 1LS engineers accepting first line calls and when possible providing fault resolution. The NOC is backed up by remote systems experts who can connect securely to manage and fault find and resolve issues on customer networks.

All faults and requests for service are logged and provided with a unique ticket reference so that the issue/s can be easily tracked and reported on.

Due to the large FLM (first line maintenance) team that Nos Communicare operates to service its customer’s site visits for break/fix are always within the agreed SLA.


Nos Communicare’ offers a preventative and planned maintenance service (PPM) along with Quality Assurance audits.

A variety of services can be provided as part of our PPM offer. These include both software maintenance (checking and updating of software releases and security patches) and hardware maintenance.

Preventative maintenance for installed hardware includes visual inspections of the system and associated batteries or racks, cleaning/replacement of fan tray units, power supply testing and system health checks along with cabling audits.

Reports are provided following PPM visits with any non-conformances or issues logged so that an audit trail is available.


Nos Communicare’ offers a pro-active system monitoring service from its 24/7/365 Network Operations Centre (NOC). By working alongside the customers IT team to ensure the Nos Communicare’ NOC has secure IP access to the installed system/s we can take advantage of the monitoring features of the Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista 8770 and 2500 Network Management Applications. These tools allow Nos Communicare’ to proactively monitor system and link status to ensure that any faults are either prevented or resolved in as timely a fashion as possible.

Being able to proactively monitor systems means that Nos Communicare’ are well placed to offer guidance on provisioning levels, trunk utilisation and other factors that may improve cost saving or boost performance.
