About Us
Each founded over 30 years ago, TALL Security Print Ltd, Checkprint Ltd and DLRT Ltd together form the TALL Group of Companies. Based in Runcorn (Cheshire), Hinckley (Leicestershire) and Lisburn (Northern Ireland) respectively, the Group employs over 150 people dedicated to secure print and payments solutions.
The TALL Group is the UK’s leading provider of special cheques, credits and secure encoded documents, producing millions of secure documents each month from its fully accredited, secure production facilities.
Accorded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation in 2005 for its cheque printing software applications, and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade in 2018, the Group operates internationally and is recognised as a market leader, with quality and security as the cornerstones of its success.
In conjunction with Experian, the TALL Group supplies electronic payment processing solutions to meet the needs of small banks and businesses in the UK.
Partnerships with the world’s largest cheque scanner manufacturer, Digital Check, as well as Olicom, suppliers of Olivetti Passbook printers, enable the TALL Group to supply cheque imaging solutions to hundreds of organisations in the UK and overseas together with passbook scanning and printing applications.

With over 30 years’ experience supplying print products and services from three secure accredited sites within the UK, the TALL Group has used this knowledge of the financial marketplace to develop new payment solutions and offer business process outsourcing.
Print Products
Our print products and services range from cheques to gift vouchers and from certificates to ballot papers for elections in the UK and around the world.
Secure Payments Products & Services
Payment needs are fully supported by supplying a choice of products and services including software, hardware and approved bureau payment solutions. The TALL Group is able to offer a range of payment solutions designed to meet customers’ needs and will tailor these to meet specific payment requirements.
Business Process Outsourcing
The Group’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services allow customers to outsource security print, secure document handling and payment processes in order to save time, resource and increase security. Solutions such as the Send-A-Cheque™ service provide bank customers with extra resource by producing cheque payments from 1 to 1,000 cheques on their behalf.

Market Sectors
The TALL Group has established a market leading presence in a range of market sectors, both in the UK and internationally. The core products and services, incorporating secure print and electronic payments solutions are widely implemented where security of data, high quality production and responsive service levels are required.
These products and solutions are frequently recommended by banks to central Government and Local Authorities, as well as a multitude of Professional Services including Insurance, Debt Management, Property Services, Accounting and Legal professionals.
Corporates and SME s represent much of the Group’s customer base, where value for money products and services, often produced to very short timescales, typically include specially printed cheques and chequebooks, automated cheque issuance or cheque deposit solutions, and frequent use is made of the TALL Group’s payments bureau service.
Charities and the not-for profit sector can obtain ‘pay per item’ solutions, and the demanding logistics of the Retail sector are heavy users of the Group’s fully automated ‘just in time’ secure document replenishment services.
Within Education, the provision of highly secure, and frequently fully personalised award certificates complements a range of high-quality general print capabilities of the Group. In addition, the Group is a TCS iON technology partner and offers online educational resources to international markets
