ELECTRICAL SERVICES
At Odin Electrical our team have brought with them over 20 years of experience in the commercial sector enabling them to deliver compliant solutions on time and on budget. From Public Sector departments, motorway service station projects, high street coffee shops, small shopping centre kiosks and fast food restaurants, the experience gained by those at Odin mean we are able to offer a complete electrical installation or design & build projects. We are able to offer a maintenance service on your commercial electrical, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. Odin Electrical are now installers of the Interact Pro smart lighting system, helping your business to reduce energy consumption.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGE POINTS
At Odin Electrical we have experience of installing Electric Vehicle car chargers and can install them at your home or business premises, either existing premises or new builds. We can make sure that the charger is compatible with your particular vehicle and complies with manufacturers recommendations. All installations comply with the current 18th Edition wiring regulations amendment 2:2022 and the IET code of practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation 4th Edition.
We can offer a free site survey which is essential to ensure your current electrical supply is capable of managing the extra load of an Electric Vehicle Charger and that the protective earthing provisions are suitable. If the extra load when adding an electric vehicle charger to a domestic premises electrical system exceeds 60amps, then permission for the installation needs to be granted by your local Distributing Network Operator. We complete all the paperwork and only carry out an install once permission has been granted by the DNO.
Once installation is complete, we test and commission the new charger, ensure it works via the smart app and register it with the relevant manufacturer. You the customer will then receive all electrical certification and relevant DNO approval paperwork.
