About Us

London Examinations Board is a UK entity registered with the UK Register of Learning Providers (UK Provider Reference Number 10043715) and with the UK government’s ESFA – the Education and Skills Funding Agency.  Our headquarters is in Hertfordshire, England and we also have Asian regional offices.

London Examinations Board only promotes superior internationally recognised courses. We are primarily a distance learning provider, but recognise that not everyone is comfortable with distance learning.  Therefore LEB has approved select colleges and institutions in certain jurisdictions to offer student-support and, if preferred, face-to-face classroom learning in addition to LEB’s online delivery platform.  These colleges and institutions become LEB Approved Learning Centres.  Quality assurance visits and training on the London Examinations Board learning platform are carried out by us before a formal centre-approval is given.  Annual reviews are also undertaken to ensure processes, procedures and quality assurance are maintained.

LEB Approved Learning Centres will usually provide additional tutoring, administrative and other support functions to the learners.  Learners will have full access to our online learning platforms.  You will therefore be able to enjoy the benefits of our online learning platforms which are truly interactive and harness the power of social networking to make learning fun, collaborative and engaging. It is a perfectly safe and secure network for learners to interact and learn from tutors and from each other.

If there is no LEB Approved Learning Centre near you, please contact us.  We are always looking for new partner colleges and institutions, so that we can offer you more learning-mode choices.

LONDON EXAMINATIONS BOARD PROGRAMMES ACCREDITED BY UNIVERSITY PARTNERS

London Examination Board has partnered with various universities in the UK, Australia, USA and Europe who have accredited some of our degree-programmes.  These universities recognise our academic programmes by allocating them credits against their own undergraduate and/or postgraduate degrees.  These universities therefore only require LEB graduates to top-up their LEB awards rather than undertake the universities’ whole programme.  This reduces the cost to the students and allows us to help students more.

QUALIFICATIONS AWARDED BY UNIVERSITIES AND PROFESSIONAL BODIES

British Universities

LEB currently has agreements with two selected British universities (University of South Wales and University of Gloucestershire).  These British universities have mapped our postgraduate diplomas and will offer top-up Master’s degrees.  A London Examinations Board learner who has successfully completed our Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration or Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership, Strategy and Innovation can enrol with one of these linked British Universities to gain an MBA or MA by successfully completing the dissertation or project element only. LEB is responsible for the supervision of the dissertation or project.

We are always looking to form new ties with British universities to be able to expand our offering of top-up Bachelor degrees for our Higher Diploma programmes and top-up MBAs and MAs for our postgraduate diplomas.

Murdoch University, Perth, Australia

EMLSI – LEB has an agreement with Murdoch University in Perth, Australia where a London Examinations Board learner who has achieved a merit for the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration may enrol for Murdoch’s Executive Masters in Leadership, Strategy and Innovation.  Learners will only need to complete a few online modules and the Capstone project with Murdoch.

Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (top-up) – For LEB graduates of the Level 5 Higher Diploma in Accounting and Finance, they may apply to study on campus at Murdoch University for only 1.5 years to achieve this degree

Bachelor of Business in Management (top-up) – For LEB graduates of the Level 5 Higher Diploma in Business Administration, they may apply to study on campus at Murdoch University for only 1.5 years to achieve this degree

Westcliff University, USA

Westcliff is a recent partner of London Examinations Board and has two locations where classes are offered on-site – Irvine, California and Cerritos, California as well as distance learning. If you are a graduate of a London Examinations Board Diploma in Business Administration you can apply to Westcliff for their Bachelor of Business Administration (top-up).  You will receive a 50% reduction from their online tuition fees or a 20% reduction from their on-campus tuition fees (you will be issued an I-20 so you can apply for an F1 student visa)

Students who have successfully completed the LEB:

  1. Extended Diploma in Business Administration will receive 24 transfer-credits and will therefore be required to undertake a further 96 semester credits at WU (3 years)
  2. Higher Diploma in Business Administration will receive 54 transfer-credits and will therefore be required to undertake a further 66 semester credits at WU (2 years)

Clear progression pathways

If you are motivated and eager to augment your education and enhance your career, we at London Examinations Board want to help you. We have professional/executive diplomas in a variety of fields to enhance your career. We also have undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in accounting and finance, business, hospitality and marketing with universities in England, Australia, France and Malaysia. So if your aspiration is for that promotion or to get into a new field, or for recognised qualifications at diploma and/or degree level we can help you achieve that goal. Have a look at the videos released by two of our partners.

Total flexibility

At London Examinations Board we understand and accept that people are unique and have different strengths and limitations.  You are very likely to be self-motivated, but do you prefer to learn independently at your own pace or would you be better off with a more structured classroom environment?  At London Examinations Board we are highly flexible with the mode of delivery.  Where possible we will allow you to enrol for distance learning directly with us or you will enrol onto one of our courses through an LEB Approved Learning Centre.

London Examinations Board Approved Learning Centres

At London Examinations Board we have, in some countries, validated actual bricks and mortar colleges and institutions to deliver our courses by becoming LEB Approved Learning Centres. Our arrangements with these colleges or institutions are for them to provide learner support and, if preferred, additional tutoring for a more structured classroom learning experience. All learners will always have access to our bespoke learning platform. If there isn’t a convenient LEB Approved Learning Centre near you, please contact us as we may be in the process of opening in your area. We are continuously looking to validate and add centres.

Why Distance Learning?

At London Examinations Board we believe that distance learning is the future.  Distance learning has many benefits.  Convenience and flexibility: we can reach many more people in many more jurisdictions; and leaners can access a course whatever time of the day it is.  Learner development: learners may be less intimidated and might engage more freely with each other and their tutors, and have more time to rationalize and formulate comments than in a classroom environment. Cost effectiveness: It costs a great deal less to enrol on the same course and cuts down on ancillary expenses associated with physically attending classes overseas.

Why Distance Learning with London Examinations Board?

  • A bespoke learning platform – London Examinations Board has a bespoke learning platform which will never get old as it is being continuously developed, improved and updated. The online learning platform is interactive and harnesses the power of social networking to make learning fun, collaborative and engaging. It is a safe and secure network for learners to interact and learn from tutors and each other.  It promotes the idea of enhancing collaboration and sharing between learners themselves and with tutors plus an ability to share with the management of London Examinations Board.
  • A dedicated online tutor – Learners will have a dedicated online tutor for every module of a course. The online tutor will interact and guide you during the duration of your course. Unlike some other distance learning providers, this is included in the cost of the course.
  • Great programmes and pathways – London Examinations Board offers programmes with top-up pathways with our partner universities. Our degree programmes are endorsed and accepted by our partner Universities who award their qualifications.
