Why Us
We are Vidatec, an award-winning web and mobile app development company based in central Scotland. We’ve been around in the business for 10 years, which means we’ve seen trends come and go… but what never goes away is our understanding that people are at the heart of it all, along with an underlying commitment to making a positive impact on people’s lives. We believe apps not only entertain and inform, but can also improve people’s health, enhance working culture, and produce real behavioural change. And we’re lucky to have worked with some inspiring organisations who have asked us to achieve exactly that. Whether it’s apps for health and wellbeing, social care, workplace engagement, or leisure and travel, everything we do is underpinned by our understanding that what matters is the user’s experience.

We are the people behind the Couch to 5K app, which was developed alongside Public Health England and the BBC. We have also worked with Ryvita, UKTV and SAGA among others.
