The Original Pillow with a Hole™ is an effective treatment for ear pressure sores and in particular Chondrodermatitis Nodularis Helicis Chronica (CNH).
Typical intervention for persistent ear pressure sores includes steroid creams, surgical excision and cryotherapy. However, none of these treatments address the root cause of the problem, the friction and pressure of the user’s pillow acting against their ear, and recurrence rates remain high.
By removing the source of friction and pressure, the ear can heal naturally over a matter of weeks, and by keeping the ear from the pillow, recurrence doesn’t occur.
