About Us
Isla Components Limited was formed in 1998, as a manufacturer of wiper arms, spindles, pushrods and linkages predominantly for the OES and replacement truck, bus and coach automotive and agricultural sectors. To complement this business the Company imported wiper blades, washer jets, washer pumps, spray nozzles and wiper motors.
Your windscreen wipers are subjected to all weather conditions. Even when they are not in use your wiper blades are up against the elements from wind and rain to snow and ice - they're even called into action on glorious sunny days when you clean your glass using the wiper blades and screenwash. As such they are prone to wear and damage, meaning that your windscreen wipers can start to deteriorate very quickly making it difficult to see where you're going when you need them most. Signs of wear or damage to wiper blades are obvious with smearing on the glass, and also if you run your finger along the rubber strip on the windscreen wipers themselves. If you notice any unevenness or gaps, your wiper blades won't be working to the highest standard and it's time to change them.
