We have over 35 years' experience in using and portraying geo-referenced data to help public transport users find their way and local authorities to help residents visualise their local environmental and development plans.
Having worked together in similar fields previously, we established GRM to continue to harness the power of data for existing and new public and private sector clients.
PRODUCTS
Interactive travel websites
- We combine TransXChange and Naptan public transport data with geo-referenced mapping layers and datasets to provide online interactive public transport planning maps for local authorities across the UK.
Automated bus stop information posters
- We have developed our own sophisticated, easy to use software to provide reassuringly accurate, clear, attractive information to bus users when they need it most, for both operators and local authorities.
Touch-screen journey planning kiosks
- We take all of the technology involved in our travel planning websites to create clear, reliable, intuitive touch-screen (or static) information kiosks, already rolled out in Durham city centre and across Fife in Scotland.
Creating and editing compliant Bus Open Data files
- We don't just process bus open data, we create it too. Our bespoke TransXChange creation software is approved by the Department for Transport and allows smaller (and larger!) operators to ensure they are compliant with the Bus Open Data Strategy.
Designing eye-catching publicity material
- Who says data can't look great? We have experience of producing top drawer marketing and publicity material for leading bus operators. Our clients include bus operators big and small, such as Brighton & Hove and Nottingham City Transport.
