ABOUT US
We (Dan and Lauren) started Funky Timber to bring a love for timber and an eye for design and detail to our customers’ projects. We love it when our customers achieve their dream look, and we like things to be different, less focussed on mass produced and boring projects. We’ve always thought that life is too short for boring bland identikit home, holidays or anything else, and we decided to apply the same logic to running our own business.
We have a young family and we’ve built our company around our family life, so that Dan can continue his passion for joinery with Lauren supporting in sales and marketing. Family, work life balance, quality of life, and a lovely home are all as important to us as they are to our customers. We love the autonomy, independence and the opportunity to do things our way – the funky way!
With over 30 years of carpentry experience, we pride ourselves in offering our customers quality products to transform any room, with the option of tailoring pieces to fit your home or workplace at competitive prices.
TOP QUALITY MATERIALS
We source top quality materials with wood and steel and this is all prepared in our warehouse, located in St Helens, Merseyside. Our team also includes dedicated fabricators on site with over 20 years experience, meaning we can offer steel products and bespoke designs and sizes.
We offer our clients a wide range of products from timber cladding with various colour and design options, to bespoke Funky Timber branded furniture, which continues to grow. Every piece of furniture is handcrafted in house meaning each single item is individual to that special customer.
DEDICATED SALES STAFF
It is important to us that our customers have the best possible service from start to finish, therefore we have a team of dedicated sales staff that are available seven days a week with a vast knowledge of our products, and more than happy to help with bespoke furniture queries, general enquiries or even fitting enquiries for home and commercial jobs. Our sales team provide regular updates and order lead times, delivery information and after sales care.
We are now one of the leading suppliers of our Funky Timber Wall cladding packs offering fast delivery with DX COURIER & FREIGHTROUTE for our larger deliveries. Step-by-step advice is available. We also offer the option of a professional fitting service with our friendly and experienced fitting team who are available to transform your home or commercial space.
