Excuria Law is a niche pensions law practice, set up as a sole practice by Elizabeth Haggis in 2012. 

Elizabeth has spent more than 40 years in pensions, both as an administrator and consultant and, since 1997, as a pensions solicitor and professional trustee. 

Located in Buxton in Derbyshire, the practice advises companies and boards of trustees of all sizes, all over England, but specialises in owner-managed businesses and SMEs and their pension arrangements. In addition, since 1999, Elizabeth has acted for both local authorities and contractors/tenderers in local government outsourcing. She advises on public sector pensions, including (but not limited to) Local Government Pension Scheme, Teacher’s Pension Scheme, NHS Pensions and Civil Service Pensions. 

Being a niche sole practice, Excuria Law can price work competitively, which the larger law firms providing pension advice are not always able to do for smaller suppliers.
