Rand Chartered Surveyors was founded in 2007 by Andrew Rand, soon joined by his brother Nigel Rand as partner and co-director.
Having both practiced in London and the south-east since 1988, Nigel and Andrew carry the weight of invaluable experience borne out of working in leading multi-disciplinary Chartered Surveyor and Property Consultancies specialising in the commercial sectors. Andrew leads on Building Surveying and Nigel on General Practice.
The majority of our work is in London and the South, although most of our clients have requirements for property advice throughout the UK, which we are normally able to service.
Our network of clients is ever-expanding and once you are with us, you won't leave us.

PRE-ACQUISITION & DUE DILIGENCE
Our pre-acquisition work covers building surveys and due diligence of technical appraisals and construction monitoring of development projects.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & CONTRACT ADMIN
Design, specification, and project management of building works for repair and maintenance, refurbishment, fit-out, and alterations to existing buildings for owners, occupiers, landlords, and tenants.
We provide sound professional advice to owners and occupiers as to the level of rent to be paid at rent review and lease renewal from a thorough understanding of the valuation, legal and technical aspects of the property, the lease, and the market place.
Landlords and tenants of commercial premises appoint us to deal with dilapidations issues during and at lease expiry, which requires detailed technical expertise as well as a thorough understanding of the liabilities and principles of this complex area.
Rand Chartered Surveyors are committed to acting on behalf of property owners intending to carry out building works close to neighbouring properties. We are also committed to those who have been served notices under the Act. Our party wall services are offered as part of our duty to resolve disputes in an impartial and practical manner.
