About Swansea Industrial Components
SIC (Swansea Industrial Components) is a family run business that has been making wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for over 50 years since Mr Layton Roberts founded it back in 1964.
SIC started life as a wiring loom and cable assembly manufacturer, initially servicing the white goods market but quickly began supplying the gaming, vending and automotive sectors.
Today SIC serves over 100 customers in more than 20 different sectors including medical, switchgear, lighting, heating and ventilation to name but a few. We manufacture over 14,000 different product lines, which are utilized in anything from ambulances, medical probes, coffee machines, boilers, beer coolers and vacuum pumps.
Although the application of our products is wide and varied, SIC’s commitment to manufacturing excellence remains constant.

SIC employs over a hundred skilled operatives at our purpose-built 188,000 sq foot UK manufacturing facility. In addition to this we have built up strong and reliable partnerships with our low-cost manufacturing partners meaning we’re able to offer your company significant savings whilst still maintaining the ‘SIC standard’; an excellent level of quality, service and reliability.
