About Us
TF Automation are specialist engineers, who design and manufacture process automation solutions as well as supplying local manufacturers with pneumatic and industrial components. Supporting a wide range of manufacturing industries from automotive, aerospace and defence, to pharmaceutical, printing, packaging and general industrial, we design and manufacture special purpose machinery, designed to client’s bespoke requirements.
Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, TF Automation design and engineering team work with manufacturers on small to medium sized automation projects, from bench-top checking/gauging fixtures to multiple 6 Axis robotic pick & place systems. TF Automation also has particular expertise working with plastic components including assembly, machining and finishing.
All aspects of project delivery are carried out in-house, including concept design, 3D CAD in Solidworks, CNC machining, manufacturing (mechanical, electrical and programming), testing and commissioning, with all materials and components meeting strict quality standards.
Our focus is on providing automation solutions that are tailored to our clients’ specific requirements and which deliver the highest quality and reliability for each unique application. The TF Automation engineering team take the time to fully assess and understand the needs and expectations of each project, ensuring our designs transform ideas into reality and result in improved production efficiency.
Our combined experience is across a wide range of industries, with particular experience in supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers in the automotive and aerospace industries.
Capabilities
With over 40 years’ experience, our design and engineering knowledge and experience is extensive and ensures we offer the latest technology across a wide range of disciplines, including robotics, process automation, laser marking, pick-and-place, leak testing and plasma treatment.
We partner with manufacturers on small to medium sized automation projects focusing on supplying bespoke machines that improve quality standards and product consistency as well as improving output and reliability.
We support clients with the integration of equipment into existing production facilities, across a wide range of industries, taking ownership of projects from design through production to delivery and on-site commissioning.
