About Us
A truly British company, ASD Lighting designs, develops and manufactures products from our 200,000 sq ft factory in the heart of South Yorkshire.
We pride ourselves on our reputation for innovation and quality, using our skills and expertise to design and manufacture a unique portfolio of attractive, hard wearing products, featuring practical and time saving installation features.
ASD Lighting has developed highly efficient, UK manufactured products for general internal & external environments but also manufactures specialist lighting product ranges for more niche applications such as Mental Health Secure units, Railways & Street Lighting.

ASD Lighting have been manufacturing in the UK from our Rotherham factory for over 39 years.
We strive to use the latest manufacturing techniques and provide a comprehensive range of operating options in all our products, in order to meet the exacting demands of customers and the latest building regulations requirements.

Lighting Solutions
Our LIA & ICEL qualified team of specialist designers provide a lighting scheme design service, covering solutions for any application.
Using the latest software we produce 3D visualisations of our lighting schemes, incorporating furniture and colour schemes to produce lifelike images of the finished environment. We can create designs for interior and exterior areas, such as student accommodation, apartment blocks and healthcare units, as well as superb design skill for stairwells.

The Design Process
We appreciate project sizes can vary from large new developments to small existing room refurbishments.
We accept projects of all forms and sizes! From phone conversations, faxed sketches, drawing hard copies, PDFs, or AutoCAD DXF / DWF. Once we complete the lighting scheme, we mark the luminaire positions on the drawings along with the emergency luminaire requirements.
