Opportunity to join the Steering Board for SmarterUK's Transport Workstream.

techUK’s Transport Workstream is pleased to be able to offer 5 spaces on the Steering Board for 2018 to our members.

The Transport Steering Board provides strategic direction for the programme, guiding and overseeing the workstream activities, as well as providing insight into market development and engagement activities. Members of the Steering Board will also sit on the SmarterUK Advisory Council, which links up the Transport, Smart Cities and Smart Energy workstreams that fall under SmarterUK, techUK’s smart infrastructure initiative. 

In 2018, the Transport work programme will focus on preparing for the future of transport by working with members and stakeholders to ensure the policy and regulatory environment in which our members operate is capable of supporting and driving innovation in the transport sector.

If you or someone from your organisation is interested in holding a position on our Transport Steering Board, we would like to hear from you! Please send a short expression of interest including your name, role title and interest or relation to the position to Jessica Russell by noon Thursday 15 March. If you have any questions in the meantime, please do feel free to contact Jessica.

The Steering Board meets twice a year, with the next Board Meeting coming up on Wednesday 4 April 2018. Please note that we do need the members of our Steering Boards to commit to attending these (either in person or dialing in), so there is some time commitment involved.
