AXELOS with updated Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model
AXELOS has launched a new digital version of our Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3®). The full assessment tool looks across an entire organization to assess how it delivers its portfolios, programmes and projects.
The new tool is available to AXELOS Consulting Partners through a cloud-based web application and provides a standardized scoring structure with consistent benchmark data and data visualizations. It comprises three different options, portfolio management, programme management, and project management, which are structured into five maturity levels.
P3M3 analyses the balance between an organization’s processes, the competencies of the people involved, the tools that are deployed to support them, and the management information used to manage delivery and improvements. This integrated approach leads to decreased costs and improvements in on-time delivery, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
P3M3 is not structured around a particular body of knowledge, method or discipline but has been specifically designed to be independent and agnostic.
