CIPS Corporate Award: Practitioner level

The Welsh Government will be funding a fixed number of places for students to study the Corporate Award Practitioner Level 4 in September 2020.

The course will be delivered by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and their bank of Wales-based tutors. Course delivery will be at Welsh Government venues across Wales. If COVID-19 restrictions are still in place, this programme may commence virtually through online lessons with tutors.

The Corporate Award study route is assignment-based, consisting of 5 modules with an assignment required at the end of each module, in the place of an exam. Students will also be required to submit a final research project at the end of the course. The course content will be tailored for Wales to ensure it is relevant and reflects areas important to the Welsh public sector.

This programme is only available to new entrants, so if you are currently on an open CIPS programme with a Welsh university, you will be unable to apply. This is to preserve the existing intake of students at our Welsh Higher Education institutions.

How to apply

To express your interest, please complete the Expression of Interest form below and submit it to vwpolicy@gov.wales by close of play 28 May 2020.

An evaluation panel will assess all EOI forms to identify successful applicants. Due to the limited number of places available, it is unlikely that all applicants will be successful.
