Commission provides further clarity to EU referendum guidance
Commission statement on EU referendum guidance, originally published on 7 March.
On 7 March, the Charity Commission published regulatory guidance for charities on engagement with the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union. Responses to this guidance suggested that some recipients required more clarity on some of the wording.
Today, the commission has made some changes to the wording of the guidance in order to provide greater clarity.
Sarah Atkinson, Director of Policy and Communications, has written a blog on why the changes to the wording have been made in order to provide this further clarity. We would encourage those interested to read this blog.
