Digital Transformation in Government

This briefing gives an overview of policy developments in the use of technology within local and central government. 

Reform was delighted to host a policy roundtable on 'Digital transformation in government' in October 2019, with the kind support of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). The discussion was introduced by Niall Quinn, Technology Director at the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), and David Keigher, Public Sector Lead at HPE. This policy briefing offers an overview of the discussion that took place, outlining the benefits of technology in solving societal challenges and the need for collaboration between public and private voices in order for that to be achieved.

The briefing also addresses the necessity for cultural change towards digital transformation, and the development of digital skills across the workforce.
