Independent investigation launched into police actions prior to fatal crash in Kensington.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has launched an independent investigation following the death of a man in a car crash in Kensington, west London.

The man died after the car he was travelling in crashed into a building on West Cromwell Road shortly after 3am on 10 June.

It is believed that police attempted to pull the car over shortly before the crash. The IPCC is investigating whether police actions prior to the crash were in line with local and national policy.
