Investigators to carry out scene visit one week on from Wimbledon shooting

Investigators will be carrying out a scene visit in Wimbledon on Monday, 10 December, one week on from a police shooting.

The team will be in the Haydons Road and Lacock Close area from around 7.30am handing out leaflets and speaking with passers-by in case anyone witnessed the events on 3 December in which a 23-year-old man was shot during a pre-planned Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) operation. 

We would appeal to anyone who witnessed the shooting to contact us in order to assist with our independent investigation.
