First case study published for our new data centre operator supplier forum: EkkoSense and Digital Realty

We are delighted to have received our first case study for our new operator supplier technical forum, ahead of our first meeting on 29th October.  This explains how cooling energy consumption was reduced by an impressive 20% in a legacy data centre environment.   See below for full case study. 

What is the Operator Supplier Technical Forum?  

This is an informal group to help us showcase best practice and technical innovation in data centres.  The objectives are to demonstrate to external stakeholders that the sector is proactively seeking ways to improve performance, reliability and sustainability, to provide a platform for leading edge supplier solutions and to share knowledge within the sector.   

We want to highlight new supplier offerings being applied in data centres and explain the technologies and innovations behind them.   

Outputs will take the form of case studies together with supporting documentation such as infographics, white papers and product profiles.  An initial meeting to plan activity and agree priorities and outputs, is taking place next Tuesday at techUK from 2-4pm.
