Promoting student electoral registration

Jo Johnson MP, Minister of State for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation, has invited HEFCE to support measures to promote student electoral registration.

The Government is taking forward a number of initiatives to meet its goal of creating ‘a democracy that works for everyone’. HEFCE has been invited to assist the Government in achieving this goal by encouraging higher education providers in their efforts to improve student registration levels further, including through sharing of good practice.
