Publication of modern slavery offences data tables
The Sentencing Council has published data tables, detailing recent sentencing trends for modern slavery offences.
This is in preparation for the launch of the Council’s Modern slavery definitive guideline, which will be published tomorrow (Thursday 12 August 2021).
The data tables include statistics on volumes and sentencing outcomes for the offences covered by the guideline, which will apply to offences sentenced under sections 1 and 2 of the Modern Slavery Act (2015).
