Register for the All-island Food Poverty Network event: Hungry for Change

Date: Wednesday 27 September, 2017 Time: 10am – 2pm Venue: F2 Centre, 2 Reuben Plaza, Dublin 8

Delegates are invited to register for the All-island Food Poverty Network event ‘Hungry for Change’ which will look at new approaches to addressing food poverty, organised by the Food Standards Agency and safefood.

The event, happening on the 27 September, will share new insights, latest research and explore solutions in tackling inequality and food poverty. Guest speakers will challenge the idea that all healthy foods are expensive and unaffordable. We will also look at current food price trends and explore innovative ways of improving nutritional education both inside and outside the classroom. Speakers include Lindsay Graham a freelance child food poverty advisor who will share her experiences of good practices from around the world in building stronger communities including Kitchen Social - a healthy food and social development offer during the school holidays in London.

The event will be of interest to those working in government departments and government agencies, academia and those in strategic positions in the voluntary community sector, that have a common interest in reducing food poverty on the island of Ireland.

You can register for this event online. The full agenda is available below.
