YPO supports Let Play Lead the Day

YPO recently attended Let Play Lead the Day – an event to launch an animated home play resource at Tapestry’s HQ.

The launch celebrated a brand-new collaboration between award-winning education platform, Tapestry, and internationally renowned playworker, Amber Ogunsanya-William, aimed at helping families to discover easy, cost-effective ways to play at home, using re-purposed materials.

YPO provided arts and resources for craft tables and activities, along with specially tailored goodie bags, showcasing our Early Years’ product range and long-standing expertise in education.

Tapestry’s East Sussex HQ was transformed as participants were invited to create their own adventure playgrounds celebrating a vibrant mix of colours, using YPO materials.

A pioneer in her field, Amber grew up in an adventure playground and is an inclusive playworker, consultant and advocate, plus holder of the first-ever NSPCC Champion of Childhood.

Tapestry is a community-focused organisation dedicated to creating inclusive spaces and resources that support wellbeing, creativity and connection - especially through play.

Speeches from industry leaders, product testing, and general networking formed part of the launch.

Event attendees included CEOs, directors, professors and play champions and representatives from Play England, London Play, NSPCC, PlayNation, Eureka Children’s Museum and Unicorn Theatre.

The launch marked a shared commitment to making play more accessible, creative and inclusive.
