Socitm and Verto to support Cloud based project management in Local Government
The local government sector is heavily involved in the delivery of change management as well as corporate projects and programmes but typically manage these with spread-sheets, documents and emails.
This can make it hard to achieve effective governance, realise benefits and adhere to a particular PPM methodology. Councils would also like to collaborate more effectively to share business cases, lessons learnt and identify joint opportunities.
Verto is a Cloud based user configurable project, programme and portfolio management system with around 10,000 users in more than 30 councils across the country.

Resource utilisation is significantly improved by highlighting and, where necessary, closing poorly performing projects
