District Judge Retirements - District Judge Wilby and District Judge Chandler

Notes for the Editor District Judge Philip Taylor Wilby is 65. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1969. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1986 and as a District Judge in 1995. He also served as a Fee-paid Chairman of the Social Security Appeal Tribunals (later known as a Legally Qualified Panel Member of the Appeal Tribunals) from 1983 to 2006.

District Judge Christopher Bernard Chandler is 65. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1968. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1983, as an Assistant Recorder in 1992, as a District Judge in 1993 and as a Recorder in 1999.
