Senior Circuit Judge Appointment

The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP, has appointed His Honour Judge Neil Murray Ford QC to be a Senior Circuit Judge, Resident Judge at Bristol Crown Court with effect from 15 October 2009.

His Honour Judge Neil Murray Ford QC is 56.
He was called to the Bar (I) in 1976 and took Silk in 1997. He was
appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1994, as a Recorder in 1998
and as a Circuit Judge on the Western Circuit in July this year.
