Appointment of a District Judge - James

News Release issued by the COI News Distribution Service on 24 February 2010

HM The Queen has appointed Hywel Dylan James to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP. The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales has assigned him to the Wales Circuit, based at Cardiff Civil Justice Centre with effect from Monday 22 March 2010.

Notes to Editors

Mr James is aged 48. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1986 and was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2004.
