Land Registry qualifications are a first at Law London event
Land Registry's first exhibition at the annual Law London event was a resounding success, as legal professionals from all over the country visited the stand to find out about the training opportunities offered by Land Registry
The two-day event at London's Olympia attracted an estimated 3000 visitors, many of whom were surprised to learn that Land Registry training courses could form part of their career plan.
"Many professionals perceive Land Registry as a highly regarded government department whose main responsibility is for maintaining the land register," said Linda Chamberlain, Head of Education and Training.
"What they are less aware of is Land Registry as a well-established training provider, with a variety of high quality courses, qualifications and seminars on offer.
"Every year Land Registry representatives attend and sometimes speak at the Law London event. This is the first time we have exhibited here in order to promote our training opportunities. It was a huge success and we are very pleased with the level of interest from visitors to our stand."
Training offered by Land Registry includes the distance learning professional qualifications leading either to LRQ diploma or LRQ certificate, one-day seminar topics and H1in-house workshops.
Law London 2008 was run by The Solicitors Group, the UK's largest collection of law firms and organisers of the profession's leading exhibitions and training congress.
