Workshop A – I’m not a pain, I’m just not you - Personality differences in the workplace
In order to be truly effective at work, skills and knowledge are no longer enough – who we are counts! How we manage ourselves and build relationships with others are key cornerstones to being successful.
This workshop will take the first step in developing our knowledge of our own particular approach and style and where that might differ from other people’s, allowing us to see that what we might see as a pain in others or even a deliberate step to undermine is simply a difference in style and the more we understand these differences the more flexible we can become in our relationships at work. We will be using the Myers Briggs Personality indicator as a framework for the workshop and the ideas can be used with colleagues, managers and clients.
Workshop Leader: Lynne Howells
Lynne is an independent consultant with 20 years experience of coaching people in a variety of settings including the Public, Health, Housing, and Not for Profit sectors which allows her to see both how individuals, teams and whole organisations work and where at times we can let differences, that are perfectly natural, exhaust and bother us. Lynne is qualified in a number of development tools including Myers Briggs Personality Indicator, 360 Emotional Intelligence, Skill and Strengths assessments.
